Each book contains words that are appropriate for their letter sound proficiency and tricky words that have been previously taught. Comprehension questions and discussion topics are included at the end of each book, along with guidance for both teachers and parents. Light font highlights the few letters that should not be sounded out, such as the /b/ in "lamb." This level is designated as Level 4.
